Ni is the miracle child of an android and a mermaid who wanted to have a family together. She lives with her parents in their family restaurant by the sea, where she helps out a waitress.
As a hybrid, Ni can control water, produce bubbles, grow fins, and (somewhat) sing. She is a little tone-deaf.
Ni is tomboyish, sassy, and speaks in a foreign accent. She has a habit of bothering boys many years her senior, flirting with them and asking about their social life.
Because she's always working, this may be the result Ni being unable to make friends her age.
